My objective is to be a guide for my clients without pressuring them. I want my customers to trust in their own decisions because I have given them the information and advice they need.
Mary Wilson REALTOR began her real estate career at RealtyQuest after being steeped in the community of Shelton for 22 years, raising three children with husband Charlie. Mary’s clients benefit from her balance of organizational skills and personal warmth. She thrived in her 14 years in school administration as office manager for St. Joe’s High School college guidance department and as school secretary for St. Lawrence School in Shelton. She was for many years the adored coach of the St. Joe’s cheerleading squad. Beyond her intimate knowledge of the Shelton, Monroe and Stratford real estate markets and neighborhoods, Mary has deep roots in the town of Fairfield. She graduated from the Roger Ludlow High School, has two sons living in the town and has been an active member of the Gaelic American Club in Fairfield for over 25 years.
Mary was drawn to RealtyQuest by the recommendation of a good friend. “When I met with RealtyQuest, I liked the support they give the agents and the freedom agents have to figure out the best, individualized approach for each client,” she explains. Helping people is a motivator for Mary. She recently completed the pediatric training program for volunteers at the Yale New Haven Hospital. She volunteers with Pediatric Pals once a week, holding and playing with infants and very young children bedridden until they can breathe without the assistance of a tube. “That has been a dream come true for me,” she says, “These kids are amazing.”
As a real estate salesperson, she relishes the chance to help her customers, “Decisions about buying or selling a home are big decisions,” says Mary, “My objective is to be a guide for my clients without pressuring them. I want my customers to trust in their own decisions because I have given them the information and advice they need.”
