John Crandall Realtor, grew up in Darien, CT and has also lived in Stamford, Rowayton, and currently resides in West Norwalk. He specializes in helping home buyers and sellers in Fairfield County Connecticut.
John taught middle school math and computers for eight years after graduating from Denison University with a degree in psychology and completing a master’s in education at Fordham University. John then used his experience in education and entrepreneurial spirit to start an educational software company, EdVenture. He has designed and marketed software programs which incorporate interactive multi media graphics with educational content to teach mathematics in a fun way. His programs have won numerous awards. During these 12 years John attended numerous tradeshows where he constantly interacted with prospective buyers in the education market. John is extremely imaginative and has a great eye for visualizing the potential of a home. He has always had an affinity for and a love for architecture. John was attracted to a career in real estate because it integrates all of his interests.
John is an active volunteer in Fairfield County. He has tutored math at St. Luke’s Life Works. He has coached adults in need with math skills for passing the high school equivalency test. In the past John has volunteered to drive cancer patients to and from Norwalk Hospital under the auspices of the American Cancer Society. John also had the privilege to spend a Semester at Sea during his junior year where he traveled on a ship around the world while taking classes. In his off time, John enjoys participating in a wide range of sports. Some of his favorites are hockey, skiing, golf, kayaking, tennis and mountain biking.
